Acoustics in catering

IMPROVE THE ACOUSTICS IN YOUR CATERING / RESTAURANT

What's the problem ?

The big problem is the "reverberation" in the room (this is also experienced as an echo) that arises because different hard materials are used in the interior of the restaurant. These problems are very common in the hospitality sector, many catering establishments such as restaurants, cafes, discotheque, clubs, hotels, ... are faced with poor acoustics, and let this now be a phenomenon that is certainly not interesting in the catering sector. Customers of poor understandability at the table, do not feel at ease in the restaurant, a subsequent visit to your opportunity is therefore quickly gone and this means that this quickly costs you money. Investing in improving space acoustics therefore pays for itself quickly.

What is the solution?

In short, a quick solution is to use enough soft, absorbent materials in the interior. There are different types of products that you can tap into your interior to improve the acoustic climate. You can, for example, cover both the ceilings and the walls with an acoustic stretch ceiling / tension wall or you can create acoustic privacy corners with separate frames (walls), there are a lot of possibilities aside.

Absorbers for walls

To absorb the reflections that come from the walls, you can use our acoustic wall panels from CLIPSO Aeroceiling or our acoustic clamping walls from CLIPSO. If the budget is a bit lower, you can also work with our polyester wool or our melamine foam, you can cut them to size by yourself or directly against the walls using one of our adhesives.
One wall for a third covering with one of our absorbers already works wonders in your space.

Absorbers for ceilings

To absorb the reflections that come from the ceiling, you can use our acoustic ceiling panels / ceiling islands from CLIPSO Aeroceiling or our acoustic stretch ceilings from CLIPSO. If the budget is a bit lower, we can also work with our polyester wool or our melamine foam, you can cut it yourself or cut it directly against the ceiling using one of our glues.

What are the requirements to improve the acoustics in my room?

If you want to improve the acoustics in your room, you can best start 60% of the floor surface of acoustic products in your catering business, this can be mounted on the ceiling and the walls. From the moment you have mounted these absorbers you will notice a big difference in reverberation in your space, it is too little you can add more or use materials with a higher absorption.
